Planting Seeds

Hello! While we've been quiet, we've been planting seeds that we hope to grow into a large-scale project with a permanent home.

What's happened:

• We've established our organization and completed all our paperwork. We're officially a 501(c)3 non-profit!
  

• We've gathered a small but incredible board of directors.
  

• We've organized our finances-- gotten a bank account and a way for people to donate to this mission.
  

• We've created an apprenticeship program and hired our first apprentice, Maria Stull Escobar!
  

• We've forged partnerships with existing organizations to help us navigate the administrative side of things and build this world we want to live in.

What's Next:

• Maria will start her apprenticeship June of 2025. She'll be in Albuquerque, under the tutelage of Stu Soboleski. After a stint out West, she'll head back to Central Virginia to oversee programming.
  

• We're gathering funds and leads to find ourselves a home. Our goal is to find 5+ acres in Central Virginia, where we can build our residential programs and community center. We welcome your ideas and input!
